Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has told returning goalkeeper Brad Guzan he can be their No1.
The American keeper, 27, rejected a new contract offer in May and left to seek regular first-team football.
But Lambert has now assured Guzan he can challenge Shay Given, 36, for the No 1 spot.
