Brad Guzan says it's critical Aston Villa secure skipper Ron Vlaar to a new deal.
The defender's current contract expires in Juve.
USA goalkeeper Guzan told Sky Sports: "It's very important [the club sign him to new deal].
"Ron's a big part of our team as the captain of the club, so hopefully he can sort out his situation as soon as possible.
"I know he's 100% committed to picking up as many points as possible. He's an important part of our team and continues to give his all each and every time he's on the pitch."
