Jonas Gutierrez is well aware of the enormity of Newcastle United's final fixture of the 2014/15 Premier League season.

The Magpies host West Ham United in a match that may decide whether or not they are relegated from the top flight, prompting departing veteran Jonas to describe the outing as the biggest during his time at the club.

"It's the most important game I have to play in seven years," said the Argentine, who will leave St James' Park at season's end.

"The good thing is that we play at home and it is still in our own hands.

"A few players know what it's like to go down and it's not very nice for the city, the players and the club."
