Real Madrid legend Guti has backed their pursuit of Manchester City midfielder David Silva.

Silva is a top summer target for Real president Florentino Perez.

"There would be no better signing. In his position he is among the best. He would be a very good addition to a squad which is already excessively good," Guti said.
