Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie is optimistic for the troubled club despite being held to a 0-0 draw at St James' Park on Saturday by Bristol City. "Going into the international break, we have a three-point gap. It's a nice feeling, but it could have been five if we had just nicked a goal," said Guthrie.
"We have had a couple of draws at home, which is disappointing. We played well on Saturday - we didn't play so well against QPR.
"We are always expected to win, but we are not going to win every game.
"But the most important thing is we didn't lose and we kept the gap."
