Manchester City handed a debut to new signing Gunnar Nielsen against Bury in their Senior Cup tie yesterday.

The Faroe Islander signed for City last week and was making his first competitive appearance for Glyn Hodges' team.

Also in the City line-up was striker Kelvin Etuhu, who is continuing his return from long-term hamstring injury.
