Dutch legend Ruud Gullit says Everton boss Ronald Koeman should be Holland coach.

Gullit insists Koeman remains the best qualified for the job - even ahead of former teammate Danny Blind.

"Koeman has adapted, with Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV and worked abroad and experienced disappointments,"said Gullit to Helden Magazine.

"Therefore I found him also the ideal coach for the Dutch national team, because he was the only one from the outside who can look at the Netherlands. He understands how they want to tackle the Netherlands. If you have worked in the Netherlands only, you are blind to what is going on outside the borders."
