Liverpool's young goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi has hailed the influence senior teammate Pepe Reina.
"Sometimes I get to work with Pepe Reina and that's obviously very beneficial," Gulacsi told LFC Magazine. "Even when I'm not training with him I just watch very closely what he does and, of course, I also watch him in matches.
"Distribution is another area where he excels. He doesn't operate like a normal goalkeeper, he's almost like an extra defender. He's got great feet and rarely ever just stands on his line without getting involved. All the young goalkeepers at the club are encouraged to play like him.
"Pepe's other strengths aren't as obvious. His concentration is excellent. A lot of the time he will have nothing to do for long periods of games but still produces excellent saves when called upon. Like every goalkeeper he makes mistakes but he quickly puts those out of his head. That's the sign of someone who is mentally very strong.
"If I can model my game on his then it should help me to improve a lot."
