Francesco Guidolin has signed a new two-year contract with Serie A new-boys Parma.

"To those who claim they do not see a plan behind our transfer policy, I tell them that we have signed director of sport Pietro Leonardi and new medical co-ordinator Professor Petrucci," said the patron.

"We have also reached an agreement to renew Guidolin's contract until 2011."
