Francesco Guidolin says he and chairman Huw Jenkins are planning to make some slight changes to the Swansea City squad over the summer.
The Italian was awarded with a two-year deal last week for keeping the Welsh club aloft in the Premier League and finished the season with a 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Guidolin, who took over in January, joined the team for the end-of-season lap after the City draw and admits it was a nice moment to enjoy as he immediately sets his sights on the 2016/17 season.
"It was a fantastic moment for me on the pitch with players, families and children and in front of our fans," he said after guiding Swansea to a 12th-placed finish.
"It is a fantastic family and another surprise for me, because we are not used to this in Italy.
"Now we need to prepare a good team for next season.
"I have spoken with my chairman and we start with a good team.
"We need something in the summer, but not too many changes."
