Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin has confirmed interest in Chievo Verona striker Alberto Paloschi.

Guidolin says the former AC Milan forward will be moving to the Liberty before Monday's deadline.

"He was my player at Parma, he was very good and very young.

"Now he is an important player and I think that he can give us a big hand by scoring many goals.

"We are close to his purchase, first carry out a medical and then he will be our player."
