Francesco Guidolin admits advising Udinese about his successor.
Guidolin has retired, but will remain with the club as an advisor.
"I will certainly not be short of work in my new role," Guidolin said. "I will be giving the club a hand, in a city and in a region that are now part of me.
"The new Coach? That's a decision down to the club. I have given them my advice because the club asked me for it.
"As far as the rest of it goes, I will not pretend I know anything."
