Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin admits it's been a poor season.

The Zebrette host Sampdoria tomorrow, looking for the three points that would see them end the campaign on 46.

"This season hasn't been an exciting one for us," he told a Press conference. "I might even say it's been a negative one.

"Our ideal situation would be to keep introducing young players and climb the table, but that hasn't been able to happen.

"We've been unable to repeat the finishes of the last few seasons, but our young players will be better off because of it."
