Guidetti scores on injury return for Man City

John Guidetti returned to scoring form for Manchester City after nine months out with a knee injury.

The highly-rated Swedish striker, who had not played in a City shirt for 18 months, stepped out for the clubs reserves team against Reading on Tuesday night.

Guidetti, who spent part of last season on loan with Feyenoord, took just nine minutes to score with a sliding finish from Marco Lopes' cross in the 3-1 win.

It is believed that Guidetti is eyeing a loan move away from City with a Premier League club this winter.
