John Guidetti starred in his Manchester City U21 comeback last night.

Guidetti returned to Blues colours for the first time in 18 months - and marked the occasion with a goal.

Guidetti has been out of action for nine months with a knee injury and also had an extended spell on loan at Feyenoord.

The Swede took just nine minutes to hit the target, sliding in to finish off Marcos Lopes' cross.

Jose Angel Pozo and Albert Rusnak wrapped up a 3-1 win for City, with Reading's consolation coming through Lawson D'Ath.
