Tim Sherwood's Aston Villa squandered a lead and had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the Midlands derby at Walsall.
The visitors, who handed Idrissa Gueye his debut, led through Callum Robinson's finish from close range on 21 minutes.
Walsall equalised on the stroke of half-time when Anthony Forde's free-kick took a wicked deflection off the wall and wrong-footed 'keeper Jed Steer.
Villa striker Libor Kozak was denied a penalty in the second half after he was held back by Andy Taylor in the box.
