Everton suffered their first defeat of the season after going down 1-0 to the Cherries at Vitality Stadium and the Toffees certainly could not have any complaints regarding the result following a disjointed performance on the day.
Midfielder Gueye was not left happy with how his side performed and the 26-year-old has now stated that Everton should take a leaf out of the Cherries' book by performing more like a team in the upcoming matches.
Gueye said: "We didn't start well. They pressed us and scored early.
"After that they showed us how to play like a team - if you don't start well then it's difficult to get playing like you want to play.
"The second half was better but we couldn't score. We need to work hard on the training ground, stay focused and keep going.
"They showed more energy and played well. If we had played to our capability we could have won but they caused us a lot of problems.
"We must hope we win the next game at home (against Crystal Palace on Friday night)."
