Eidur Gudjohnsen has declared he wants to stay with Fulham.
Having been named in Mark Hughes' starting line-up for the last two matches, Gudjohnsen is clearly enjoying the opportunity to be back in the thick of it - and is hoping that his stay at Fulham will stretch beyond the end of this season.
"It's great to be playing football again," he told fulhamfc.com. "I feel like I'm half-resurrecting my career because it was fading away earlier in the season and I just feel alive again.
"I think over the course of the season I'm sure that everyone would get their fair share of games. It's all about the Team and the Squad because if I was to stay next season, we're going to need everyone fully fit.
"We saw earlier in the season that we were very unfortunate with injuries, with a lot of forwards being injured. We need everyone fit and healthy; competition only brings the best out of players anyway.
"I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, I think Fulham is a great club, it's a great setup. It surprised me how professionally everything is set up - I've got nothing but positive things to say and I'd be glad to stay if things were right for both parties."
