Gudjohnsen happy playing for Hughes at Fulham

Eidur Gudjohnsen says he's enjoying his time at Fulham under manager Mark Hughes.

The Iceland star, 32, is in line for his first start tomorrow against Bolton as he chases an elusive FA Cup winners' medal.

Gudjohnsen said: "I'm sure you take things from your playing career into management. The training sessions reflect that.

"There is high intensity and possession play, that is the same as at Barcelona.

"We play good football at Fulham. We pass and move and try to play to our strengths and that is keeping the ball on the floor.

"I'm really enjoying my time here - there is a good tempo and I've been impressed by the whole set up.

"The FA Cup is the only trophy I haven't won, apart from the World Cup - but I don't think Iceland will be winning that anytime soon.

"I lost the 2002 final with Chelsea against Arsenal.

"I remember the excitement leading up to the final. It is the most special cup competition in the world because of its history."
