Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola refused to criticize keeper Claudio Bravo following a 4-0 thrashing at Everton and some poor recent performances.
Asked about the under-fire keeper Bravo, brought in to replace England international Joe Hart, he says: "I accept the criticism. He has to accept the criticism. It is our job.
"We have to be stronger than we were in both boxes."
On whether Guardiola expects more from Bravo the Spaniard said: "I expect better from myself too. The position is not just about the goalkeeper, we have to take the chances we get and not concede as many."
