Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says new £27m signing Gabriel Jesus is available for immediate selection.

The 19-year-old completed his move from Brazilian side Palmeiras on Thursday.

"He is fit and ready to be involved in the squad and the team," Guardiola said of Jesus.

"He is a young player so we cannot think he will solve all our problems but he is going to help us.

"It would have been easier if he could have arrived in the beginning of the season - but he is smart and he has quality."
