Guardiola presses Barcelona to tie up Alves as Man Utd come knocking

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has told president Sandro Rosell to do all he can to secure Daniel Alves to a new deal.

The Brazil fullback remains unhappy with Barca's last offer and is threatening to leave.

El Mundo Deportivo says Rosell is prepared to make an improved contract offer and will schedule talks with Alves' agent Joaquin Macanás next week

It's been revealed Manchester United have joined Manchester City and Chelsea in their interest in the Barca contract rebel.

For Guardiola, he regards the football Alves can offer as being "priceless".
