Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola was pleased with their 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao last night. The win extended Barca's lead ahead of second-placed Real Madrid to six points as Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi struck for the hosts.
Afterwards, Guardiola said: "(Thierry) Henry and (Samuel) Eto'o had no luck in front of goal. We played with good movement.
"There's still plenty of the championship ahead. We must do a lot more, but I'm happy for the fans who went home happy. It went well and a win makes the fans have faith.
"What we want is to play football, that is clear. Victor Valdes gave peace to the team.
"Everything that happens is a credit to the players."
