Pep Guardiola has added training ground fines to his routine in an attempt to keep his title winners focused.

Guardiola is not happy with some of the complacency he has seen from his side in the opening weeks of the season, per Goal.com.

And his solution is to add fines for certain actions, such as using a smartphone during analysis sessions or team meetings, arriving late to training and other disciplinary matters.

The interesting note about the fines is they will not be a percentage of the player's wages, which is usually the case.

They are flat fines, which will apply equally to anyone in the squad who should break a rule.
