Pep Guardiola will rally his Manchester City players ahead of the upcoming clash with neighbours Manchester United.
City make the short trip to Old Trafford for the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night in search of a first victory in six matches.
Guardiola's side drew 1-1 with Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday and the Spaniard is now getting set for another monumental derby agains the Red Devils.
"It's always a big match against United," Guardiola said.
"We have to see how the players recover and prepare for the game as best as possible and keep going."
City returned to the top of the Premier League table thanks to the draw but they are now only ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool on goal difference having taken two points from their last three league fixtures.
