Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was disappointed with Spain's World Cup failure.
Guardiola has spoken in support of Vicente del Bosque in Buenos Aires and admitted to having been "sorry" about Spain's early elimination from the World Cup.
"I am very sorry about Spain. Football owes those players a lot, they have done so much for the game, they deserved to be able to compete in the final rounds that start on Saturday," said the former Barcelona coach.
On Del Bosque, he added: "He is the best man to make the changes the team needs."
