Guardiola could commit to new Barcelona deal tonight

Pep Guardiola could agree to a new deal with Barcelona tonight.

El Confidencial says if Barca progress in the Copa against Valencia at the Nou Camp, Guardiola will announce he is to sign a new deal.

The coach feels if they reach the final, it will be one less complication off the menu, so allowing him to commit to Barca without the headache of handling a shock elimination and all the aftermath which comes with it.
