Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola insists their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich isn't over, despite last night's 4-0 first-leg victory.

"If we believe that it is over, we could be in for a shock," said Guardiola. "The effort of all players is what most excites me. This is the way forward, the best thing I have been able to teach the players.

"The effort put in by every player will have been appreciated by the German audience. The Germans are used to seeing football played like this."

On their favouritism for the title, Guardiola added: "They said Manchester United were also already in the final, then they let in two goals against Porto."
