Pep Guardiola has echoed Chelsea manager Antonio Conte by calling, not for the first time, for a winter break in the Premier League.
The Manchester City boss said: "We love to play football, but we've been playing every three days, sometimes a break is good for everyone. Everyone gets a rest."
His players have actually had a mini-break this week and he was asked if it will benefit them.
"We will see," he said. "If we win, good, if we don't, not. Just one midweek off since August, we needed it. We had three good training sessions.
