Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits their spending is not over.
Speaking today, Guardiola conceded he was still looking to add to his squad.
He confirmed: "We spent, but all the teams spent.
“We will see what happens until August 31. We needed to do that because four or five players out of contract.
“We did it earlier. We are lucky because would be more expensive now.
“The club was clever like that because we anticipated what we needed."
Guardiola added: “A few years ago Spain used to have the most expensive signings - now PSG.
“This is relative. I remember signing Alves and everyone thought that was crazy.
“Alves was one of the best full backs in Barca history.
“Three or four players will never be expensive because of what they will give you."
