Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has added Dr Eduardo Mauri to his medical staff.
The Daily Mail says Guardiola's complete overhaul of Manchester City continues apace with the addition of new head of the club's medical staff.
The appointment takes Guardiola's desire for everyone to be comfortable on the ball to a new level because Dr Eduardo Mauri is a former first division player with Espanyol.
Mauri, whose father also played professionally, was a forward at Espanyol making his debut in 1980. He played 61 games over six seasons scoring eight goals before retiring when he was 29 so that he could train to become a doctor.
