After a successful loan period at Norwich City, fullback Jonathan Grounds could walk straight back into Middlesbrough's starting XI this weekend.

Boro No2 Malcolm Crosby went to Bloomfield Road last weekend to watch Grounds in action in his final loan game for the Canaries, which Blackpool won 2-0.

And Grounds was not included in the reserves' line-up on Tuesday night, as Boro beat Wigan Athletic 2-0 at Billingham Synthonia.
