Kevin Grosskreutz has urged Manchester United outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger to join him at Stuttgart.

Grosskreutz, a former international team-mate of the 32-year-old, is currently playing in the German second tier at Stuttgart.

And he has invited his old national skipper to come and join him.

Grosskreutz told Bild: “He's going through a difficult situation right now.

“But he's coping with it really well. He's invited to join VfB this winter. We'd all be happy."
