Barcelona are ready to prioritise the signing of Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann in 2018.
The Catalans have chosen to splash out big on a new free-scoring attacker next year, despite the arrival of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund.
El Mundo Deportivo says their top two targets were Griezmann and Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.
However, now the board has agreed to focus everything on signing Griezmann. They regard the Frenchman as a better fit for their attack and the lack of bedding in period needed, when compared with Dybala, is also favoured.
Griezmann's Atletico deal will see his buyout clause drop from €200m to €100m in the New Year, so making him a more attractive financial option.
