Antoine Griezmann has thrown his support behind French manager Didier Deschamps.

There are some who criticize Deschamps for the fact that his French side are not the most exciting and entertaining.

Aside from their round of 16 game against Argentina, the French side have been very cautious and defensive in their games.

But striker Griezmann has no issues with the coach, as he believes Deschamps is doing a great job.

"He knows the way. We believe in him, we trust him," Griezmann is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

"He prepares the matches well and has made strong choices in this competition, especially with Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez. His choices are paying off, and I hope it will continue."
