Gretna have confirmed to the SPL that they will be able to fulfill their fixture commitments this season.
An SPL spokesman said: "It was a useful meeting. The objective was to get some reassurance.
"The administrator informed us that he believes Gretna will complete its fixtures for the rest of the season."
Gretna face Celtic at Almondvale on Sunday and are hoping for a big crowd to bring some much needed revenue.
Earlier in the day a club spokesman had voiced fears that the club only had days left.
"Celtic are our only real chance of making money before the split," he said. "But I don't know if we can carry on after the Celtic game, to be honest."
It now appears likely that Gretna will survive until the end of the season but their long-term future remains in doubt. An Irish and a Scottish consortium have both hold discussions with administrators as the Borders club seeks a new financial backer.
