Gremio have completed the signing of Napoli striker Edu Vargas on-loan.

The Chilean international has joined the South Americans on a loan deal after struggling at the San Paolo since his arrival 12 months ago.

Sao Paulo were hoping to net the forward until talks broke down. Gremio subsequently stepped in for the 23-year-old.
