Grella's move from Blackburn to Galatasaray hits a stumbling block

Vince Grella's shift from Blackburn Rovers to Turkish club Galatasaray has appeared to have hit a snag according to reports.

The Australia international looked set for a $3.4million (£2m) move to Istanbul to link up with Socceroos teammates Harry Kewell and Lucas Neill but recent news has emerged that Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is having second thoughts about selling his hard man.

Allardyce has admitted he would like to retain Grella in his squad next season which make reports suggesting that the deal was almost done not as clear cut as initially proposed.
