Vince Grella made his first start of the season on Tuesday night as Blackburn Rovers progressed to the fourth round of the Carling Cup.
The Australian midfielder has been sidelined with an Achilles injury and was able to make his first start since the 4-1 Premier League loss to Aston Villa on February 26.
The Rovers dominated proceedings but could only managed to defeat League One club Leyton Orient 3-2 at Ewood Park.
