Jonathan Greening has backed West Brom's pursuit of Real Mallorca pair Oscar Trejo and Borja Valero.

Greening said: "These two players are very good. It shows our ambition. The gaffer and chairman have been trying to get players in for a few weeks and been saying they want three or so players before the end of the transfer window.

"If we can get that calibre of player into the club then it can only help the club go forward and settle itself in the Premier League.

"With the extra two subs this year you need a big squad and people fighting for places so the more players the better. It can only benefit us."
