Green excited about new chapter with QPR

Departing West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green is very positive about his move to QPR.

The 32-year old England international has signed a two-year deal with the West London club and is thrilled to be joining an outfit who are really looking to make an impact in the Premier League.

"I'm delighted to be here," he told the club's official website.

"I'm excited about the challenge ahead and hugely encouraged by the direction in which the owners and Mark Hughes are looking to take the club.

"It's an exciting period for everybody connected to QPR and I can't wait to get started."

Green, who is way with the England team at Euro2012, will officially join the R's on July 1 after his Hammers contract expires.
