QPR goalkeeper Robert Green believes he and his teammates need to work on the basics of football in order to improve.
The R's sit at the foot of the Premier League table following Sunday's 2-0 defeat at West Ham United and Green feels that Harry Redknapp needs to improve the fundamentals of his squad if they want to lift themselves out of the relegation mire.
"What do we need to work on during this break? Not conceding goals and scoring more!" he told the club's official website.
"From my point of view, I'm the goalkeeper, so I've got an easy job.
"It's up to the manager to decide what we need to work on. But, first and foremost, we've conceded too many and not scored enough, and they're fundamental basics in football."
QPR's record so far this season reads seven matches for one win, one draw and five losses with four goals scored and 15 conceded.
The west London club next meets ninth-placed Liverpool at Loftus Road on Sunday, October 19 when the Premier League returns from the international break.
