Greece striker Theofanis Gekas has left Bayer Leverkusen to join German Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 29-year old has signed a two-year deal with Frankfurt for around 1million and the club is excited about their new recruit.
"I am delighted to be able to fulfil the wish of our coach and sign Theofanis Gekas, a dangerous striker with lots of experience," said Frankfurt chairman Heribert Bruchhagen.
Gekas joined Leverkusen in 2007 but was loaned out on two occasions - to Portsmouth and Hertha Berlin. He has also played with Bochum in Germany as well as Larissa, Kallithea and Panathinaikos in his homeland.
