Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood believes young Jack Grealish is already a star at the club.
After making his way up the ranks at Villa, Grealish broke into the first team in the 3-3 draw with QPR on Tuesday night and the youngster has now been backed by many to become a real player of the future.
However, manager Sherwood believes that Grealish is already a star and has revealed that the 19-year old is adored by the Villa faithful.
Sherwood said: "You know what he said to me when I told him he was playing? - about time!
"I never had a doubt, you know why? Because he's loved here. When I first came in he was sitting on the bench, the fans were singing someone's name and I thought 'It's not mine'.
"But it was Jack. For someone who's not played, he's a star. I've seen him in training, I've seen the intensity, he wants to play, he deserved that call up. He is a player for the future of this club but he's a player for now as well."
