Grayson to be confirmed as new Huddersfield boss

Former Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is to become manager of League One promotion contenders Huddersfield Town, BBC Sport is reporting. The former Aston Villa and Leicester City defender was sacked by Leeds owner Ken Bates just three weeks ago.

Huddersfield dismissed manager Lee Clark last week, despite lying fourth in the division.

Grayson guided Leeds to promotion from League One to the Championship in his first full season at the club, before finishing seventh in their first season back in the Championship.
