Avram Grant has pleaded with Chelsea fans to back him.
Grant, whose side face Fulham today, joked: "Tell me, did you love your wife from the first meeting?
"It's something that you need to earn, to show everybody what you do for the club and that you respect them. The players are the same.
"So I need to do something. I speak about this, maybe I speak too much about this. Now I need to show something on the pitch.
"I don't think, I know what Chelsea needs.
"I know where I'm going and what I'm going to do at Chelsea. I know that the future will be very positive.
"I think any new coach that comes to the club, the fans need to be patient with him.
"I know there was patience before and they will be patient now.
"I saw them against Hull, they were behind the team 100 per cent.
"The targets are the same as they were if Claudio Ranieri is the coach, if Avram Grant is the coach, if Jose Mourinho is the coach.
"We want titles - everybody knows that."
