Grant could make Benfica's Vitor one of his first Portsmouth signings
Portsmouth boss Avram Grant has reportedly lined up a January loan move for highly-rated Benfica centre-back Miguel Vitor.
The central defender has also attracted interest from Atletico Madrid in recent weeks and could be allowed to leave the Estadio da Luz in the New Year.
However, Benfica officials have confirmed that if Vitor was to leave - it would only be loan until the summer, and there would be no option of a purchase - as the 20-year-old is rated highly by the club.
Grant is now seemingly keen to tie up a deal for the U21 international in the next week, with a view to Vitor joining in January.
