After victory over Schalke last night, Chelsea boss Avram Grant insisted his push for more entertaining football was not in reaction to what was happening across London at Arsenal.
"It is not that it wasn't good in the past, but we are trying to change it and do something else. The past is the past but I respect the past. But we are on the way to playing the game I want. Every game is an improvement.
"We always want to be better but I don't want to look at the sky and say 'this is the limit', we are playing well at the moment and winning games.
"Arsenal play their football, Manchester United play their football and we want to play ours. We are not taking examples from other teams. We want to play as we want to play. It will be positive, good football most of the time. That is what is important. Other teams play their style."
