Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant has urged the club not to sell Didier Drogba.
Grant, who was sacked at the end of last season, said: "Didier's a very nice person who has a lot of emotion. But football is a game of emotion and Drogba is a passionate player. We need to keep him like this.
"It's not always easy with him. He's a great player, one of the best strikers in the world and very intelligent.
"No player can be good all the time and sometimes, when you have a bad injury, it can be frustrating. When things go wrong you can say you want to leave.
"He spoke to me about this and Jose [Mourinho] before. But I'm sure he can still score a lot of goals for Chelsea. He is good for Chelsea and they are good for him.
"In the next three or four years I have no doubt he will become a coach."
