Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero was delighted to get on the scoresheet in yesterday's 3-0 win at Espanyol.
"Yes, winning away from home is always difficult," said Granero. "Espanyol have great players. Moreover, the pitch was not in the best condition and was not conducive to our style of play.
"But we played the game very seriously and we have managed to take our chances. It was a very important victory."
Granero dedicated his goal to the late Dani Jarque and added: "Yes, we've all been very concerned since the day of his death. It was a gesture of respect towards the team, the fans and his family.
"A death so sudden like Jarque can happen to anyone."
